Terms

These terms cover using this website and buying days at the Community Hub.

Who you are dealing with

Lexrae Support Ltd, at Edward James House, Hadley Park, Telford, TF1 6QJ. Lexrae Support Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on anything we invoice.

This website

We keep the information here accurate and up to date. Where a fact is not confirmed yet, we say so rather than guessing. Nothing on this website is a contract on its own.

Agreeing support

Before anyone starts, we agree in writing what days they are coming, what they want to work on, what it costs, and who is paying. You will get that information before you commit to anything.

Where the council funds the support, the council pays us and you will not be invoiced by us.

Invoices and paying

We invoice whoever has agreed to pay. An invoice sets out what it covers, the amount and how to pay. Once an invoice has been issued we cannot change it. If it is wrong, we void it and issue a corrected one.

You can pay by bank transfer using the reference on the invoice, or by using a payment link we send you.

We will never ask for your card details and our staff will never enter them for you. If anyone claiming to be from Lexrae asks for card details, do not give them and tell us.

We do not add a fee for paying by card.

Changing or cancelling days

Tell us as early as you can if someone cannot come. We will agree the notice period with you when we agree the support, and we will not charge for a day we have been able to fill or for a day we cancel.

Ending the arrangement

Either of us can end the arrangement by giving the notice we agreed in writing. We will keep records for six years after support ends, as set out in the privacy notice.

If something goes wrong

Tell us. We would much rather hear about it early. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can raise it with the local authority that funds the support, or with the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman.

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights, or our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
