Accessibility

We want everybody to be able to use this website. If something is in your way, tell us and we will work with you to fix it.

This website

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. What we have done:

  • Body text is at least 16 pixels and the page still works at 200 per cent zoom.
  • Text and background colours meet the AA contrast level.
  • Colour is never the only way we show something. There is always a word or an icon too.
  • You can use every part of the site with a keyboard, and the focus outline is visible.
  • Buttons and links are large enough to tap.
  • Images have text alternatives.
  • We respect your setting if you have asked for reduced motion.
  • There is an easy read version of the main information.

What we know is not perfect

We have not yet had the site tested by an independent auditor or by people who use assistive technology every day. We plan to, and we will update this page when we have.

Getting information another way

If you need anything here in large print, easy read, on paper, or read out to you, ask us and we will sort it.

Telling us about a problem

Please send us a message describing what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We will reply and tell you what we are going to do about it.
